is a not-for-profit association, which gives free and high quality medical and veterinary care for wild, exotic and zoo animals, especially in Countries with specific social, economic and environmental problems.

The organization was founded in 2009
by a group of veterinary

surgeons and the need of improving an existing collaboration between various structures within the health management of exotic and wild animals. Italian Zoo and Wildlife Veterinary Emergency Team ONLUS aims to promote a suitable qualification of the members through exchanges, updates, congresses, seminars and training courses in the field of health management of exotic and wild animals.
